We are committed to providing our customers with premium-quality traditional sweeteners, including Dhaga Mishri, Jaggery, Jaggery Powder, Desi Khand, Boora, and other natural sugar products. As we deal with food products, our Return & Refund Policy is designed to ensure food safety and maintain product quality.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered, except under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.

  • The product received is defective.

  • You receive the wrong product.

  • The package is tampered with or opened before delivery.

  • The product is expired at the time of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and food safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened food packets

  • Used products

  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery

  • Products purchased during clearance or promotional sales (unless damaged or defective)

3. Reporting a Damaged or Incorrect Product

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To process your request, kindly provide:

  • Order Number

  • Product Name

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The outer packaging

    • The product received

    • The shipping label

    • The damaged area (if applicable)

  • A brief description of the issue

4. Refund Policy

Once your complaint is verified, we may offer one of the following:

  • Full refund

  • Replacement product

  • Store credit (where applicable)

Refunds will be processed only after our quality team verifies the claim.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days.

The amount will be credited to your original payment method.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 2–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

6. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only before they are packed or shipped.

Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately.

7. Replacement Policy

We will gladly replace products if:

  • You receive a wrong product.

  • The item is damaged during shipping.

  • The seal is broken before delivery.

  • The product is defective.

Replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

8. Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to our error, we will arrange the pickup whenever possible or reimburse reasonable return shipping charges.

Customers will not be charged return shipping costs for approved claims.

Every MEETHI DASTAAN product undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch.

Our products are:

  • Hygienically processed

  • Carefully packed

  • Sealed for freshness

  • Manufactured under food safety standards

10. Food Safety

To ensure product quality:

  • Store products in a cool, dry place.

  • Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.

  • Reseal the pouch or container after opening.

  • Consume before the Best Before date mentioned on the package.
